Much has happened in the past forty years.  After high school, I worked as a receptionist for a local company where I met my future husband.  We married in 1969 and had three wonderful daughters whom I am very proud of. I was fortunate enough to be a stay at home mom and did volunteer work at my daughters' school in the Pattonville district. When my youngest daughter started school full time, I found myself with too much time on my hands so I reentered the work world and worked in the insurance business for over sixteen years.  I was unexpectedly forced to retire in 1999, when heading back to the office, I was broad sided by another car and my spine was broken.  Through surgery and lots of physical therapy, I can walk with assistance for short distances and I ride the rest of the time.  I feel fortunate because I know things could have gone the other way.  I've had many blessings during the years such as becoming the proud grandma of triplets (who are now ten) from my oldest daughter and son-in-law, and  twins (who are five) from my second daughter and son-in-law, and a beautiful grandpuppy owned by my youngest daughter. Family meant everything to my husband and me and we were lucky to have our children and their families living close by. We all shared every Sunday afternoon together for our "family day".  Sadly in 2003, my husband and best friend passed away after almost 34 wonderful years of marriage. Now I keep my days filled with hobbies such as reading, trying my hand at learning this wide world of computers, enjoying some TV, and spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren and grandpuppy.  I enjoy traveling when I get the chance and it seems that any ocean is my favorite place to be. It has been fun reconnecting with so many classmates and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
