It has been great reading everyone's bios, so I thought I would add a few paragraphs about my last 40 years.

Right after graduation I got married to one of the veterinarians I had been working with at my after school job.  His name is Dan Mueller.  We are just about to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. 

We have 2 sons Dan Jr.(39 years) and Paul (36 years) Both sons work as heavy equipment operators.  We have a granddaughter Brittany who is 17 years old and a step-grandson Billy who is also 17. Paul is married to Susan and Dan is with Gina, so now now I have two daughters also.

I was a stay at home Mom until the 80s when I went to St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing.  I graduated from there in 1987 and then got my B. S. N. in 1990 from Webster.  I worked at St. Luke's in the Neuro surgery department until 1993 when I transferred to Barnes-Jewish Hospital on Kingshighway.  I worked in the Neuro ICU there for 14 years.  In January of 2007 I transferred to a new B. J. C. Hospital in O' Fallon, MO -  Progress West Health Care. Right now I work full time, but am considering cutting back some.

We lived in Creve Coeur until 2004 when we bought 14 acres out of Troy, MO.  Dan loves old John Deere tractors, so now he has a place to keep and use them.  We both enjoy gardening and going to county fairs.  We have two dogs, standard poodles, Grace and Sophie, whom I have been active with training and showing in obedience trials.  Both are also certified Therapy Dogs, we visit hospitals, nursing homes and rehab centers as time permits.  It is very rewarding way to volunteer.
